Carlton Melton has impressed with their recent output and Resemble Ensemble is an awesome extension of that trend. Spacey jams lead in Prescribed Skies & Elsewhere, then So The Story Grows takes it lower with Eastern-influenced strings and swirling organ sounds in a drone-like segue before the energy kicks in on High Alert and smokin’ closer Route Thirteen. Kudos to CM for changing my mind.
