Pounding drums and shimmering guitars. For fans of Aidan Baker and Eric Quach (Thisquietarmy). There’s a new one – Gets Polyamorous by Hypnodrone Ensemble on Bandcamp. I love their ‘ambient drone’ sound.
The pounding drums aspect of this would cause me to leave out the word “ambient” when describing it, but it certainly has the drone aspect and can find yourself floating through space. Throw it in a mix with The Space Spectrum – Drone Jams Vol. I and II and maybe even some Blown Out (heavier).
